Our fifth grand-child, "Cora Moon Black" born at 7:54 a.m. TODAY!!! "Cora" From the Greek 'korè' meaning "maiden" or "girl". The term 'korè' was used for certain female statues in ancient Greek sculpture. Her male counterpart was the so-called 'kouros'. In Greek mythology Cora was a byname of the goddess Persephone and it was the name of one of the main female characters in 'the Last of the Mohicans' by James Fenimore Cooper. Cora is also Scottish, and bears the same meaning as the Greek (maiden, girl) It is also our sons' Great-Great Grandmothers' name, Cora Black!
I thought I better make sure my profile wasn't too dusty here! I have been very busy with two radio stations. Besides the two weekly programs,I have become quite involved in doing live remotes, and live broadcasts from the station(s). In addition to the radio gig,I still play with the Woodsters on weekends, and do an Open Mic at two locations on Wednesday and Thursday. If that's not enough,I still have the music store 5 days a week, and the studio when I'm not doing anything else. Other than that things are slow...LOL I
