Emil Campbell

Emil is a native of Pensacola Florida and has been professionally performing since the age of 13, along with singing and entertaining he plays the Saxophone and Keys. Emil has toured with numerous bands over the years with 8 years of experience on the road.

1984-1990.

Responsible for performing in costume and impersonating major artist like Michael Jackson, Prince, in the rest of the show was Buddy Holy, Madonna, Elvis, Ray Charles, Bruce Springstein, Tina Turner and more. He was the Assistant Manager, along with creating and booking jobs. Personnel control and payroll. Maintaining and creating client database. Our success was based in Virginia but we also traveled on road trips, which became very successful and took the show all the way to Las Vegas.

Supervise personnel to develop and implement shows. Create a memorable social or corporate event with experienced professional entertainers who cater to every musical detail. Provide creative support for all types of events, ranging from dinner / dance music to special shows. Customize any performance to meet the tastes of our clients, assuring them of a “worry-free” event. Manage computer and operating systems. Improved resources utilizing database and existing marketing skills. Create and write performance contracts or sub contracts to specific needs of clients. Analyze and overseas all operations, labor, management, payroll and performance. Implemented booking and organize jobs.

Emil Campbell has served as Leader and Musical Director of The R Factor ever since they changed the name of the band from the Rupert’s Orchestra back in 1995.

Emil has maintained the band as a working entity performing for nightclubs, weddings, private parties, and corporate events. Emil’s tireless efforts have always gone above and beyond the call of duty.

His work ethics have been invaluable to the success of The R Factor. Emil has been described as “energetic”, “dynamic” and “versatile”. His electric presence on stage has earned Emil wide acclaim from Florida to Las Vegas. He was the music director for Anita Ward, who put out the hit single “Ring My Bell”, and has been in plays such as the hit musical “Inner City Opera” which he co-stared oposite of Minneapolis music legend JD Steele of the famous Steele family.
