the Queen of Cable Access TV.
I AM the Tattered Contessa because
I have been blessed to receive a priceless
broad education and live a fairy tale existence
of which most folks can only dream.
Conversely, I have also been used, abused
& dashed against the rocks.
I have lived the Blues.
But by the grace of God I have survived.
Like a childless gypsy I have traveled the globe. I have freely danced & worked... loved & been loved... wined & dined with celebrities, scholars, politicians, peasants & royalty around the world.
I can read, write & speak a bit of a few languages including French & German,
I have strolled thru mansions, castles & the Louvre in awe then wept in the poverty stricken ghettos of Africa, the Phillipines, Korea, the Carribean & Washington D.C.. I have seen the best & worst of what Life has to offer and Mankind can do to each other. I have witnessed firsthand what effects the ravages of war has on all sides.
I am a Sociologist & Road Scholar of World History, the Arts, Religions, Society, Human Nature & Metaphysics. As Diva Nancy Wilson so beautifully sings...

Highlights:
1> My group Love Story performed at the Grand Opening of the new Colorado Convention Center.
2> Later with an orchestra I sang by request "What a Wonderful World" for President George Bush at a big Republican Fund Raiser held at the Colorado Convention Center. Myself & the band were the only Democrats in the room. (smile) Meanwhile an angry mob of protesters were rioting outside over the failed Savings & Loan Companies (headed by another Bush son) where millions had lost their life savings because S& L Banks are not covered by the F.D.I.C.
3> My band Love Story opened for a large Blues Review at the Casino Cabaret on Historic 5 Points in Denver, CO. I got a standing ovation. My dad was sitting in the front row looking as proud as a peacock. It was the first time he'd seen me perform as a pro since returning from Europe. I had no idea that he was going to be there. There were tears in his eyes. My Dad NEVER cries.
